Polity Data API
Read-only JSON for elections, candidates, results, people, constituencies, parties and states. Every object carries its source, classification and last verification date.
Access
- Without a key: 60 requests an hour per IP address, for trying it out.
- With a key: your plan's monthly allowance (1,000 requests on the free plan; more on Pro, Research, Team and the API plans). Send the key as X-API-Key or Authorization: Bearer. Each response carries X-Quota-Remaining.
